What will leaders' Progress Meetings cover? Are leaders offered make-up sessions?

Purpose of Leaders' Progress Meetings

Throughout the CRIMSI Pilot, leaders will engage in progress monitoring cycles focused on continuous improvement and fidelity of implementation for high-quality instructional materials (HQIM) pilot products. The progress monitoring cycle leaders will engage in likely mirrors processes that already exist in districts and campuses. However, in these progress monitoring cycles we ask leaders to lean into using CRIMSI tools.  During the progress monitoring cycle leaders will:
  1. Utilize the Vision Walk Tool to identify trends across multiple classrooms.
  2. Review the CRIMSI Deliverables Dashboard to track participant engagement in high-quality professional learning.
  3. Gather additional artifacts of HQIM implementation, such as student work samples, CRIMSI coach observations, and curriculum-embedded assessment data.
  4. Collaborate with the Implementation Team to analyze progress monitoring data/artifacts, identifying trends, patterns, barriers, and next steps.
  5. Submit progress monitoring data before scheduled progress meetings.

Progress Meeting Make-Up Sessions

Only Instructional School Leaders will be offered make-up sessions as live attendance is a stipend requirement. CRIMSI provides Instructional School Leaders with two make-up session options per Progress Meeting, aiding them in meeting professional development cycle requirements. To fulfill the requirements for each cycle, these leaders must:

  1. Complete the corresponding module, evidenced by exit ticket submission
  2. Attend a Community of Practice (CoP) session
  3. Participate in the Progress Meeting

Upon the completion of all three professional development cycle requirements outlined, Instructional School Leaders qualify for $150 of the stipend total per product. Learn more about the stipend amount per deliverable in this FAQ.
