Troubleshooting Protocol Submissions
Protocol submissions–including lesson internalization, lesson observation, lesson rehearsal, and student work analysis submissions–do not require participants to upload the completed protocol document. CRIMSI evaluates whether the protocol- and month-specific protocol survey was submitted to determine completion.
Please follow these steps to submit protocol forms:
- Navigate to the Modules page within your TEALearn course.
- Locate the module titled "CRIMSI Data Collection."
- Review the links within the module to identify the survey requiring submission– role-specific survey submission expectations are detailed in the "Protocols and Practice" section of role-specific Semester One and Two checklists. Reference the screenshot for an example.
💡 Protocol Submission Tips:
- Piloting two products? Submit the survey only once; each survey will ask if a second product is piloted, allowing participants to answer the questions for their second product when "yes" is selected.
- Uploads are not required: Participants are not required to upload a copy of their protocols as proof of completion; instead, we ask participants to submit protocol forms.
- Coaches and Instructional School Leader Observation Protocol Submissions: For the upcoming Spring semester, we highly recommend a repeat observation of the same teacher per product. Hold on to observation protocol form receipts for future reference for observing the same teacher in May.
Troubleshooting
- If a participant sees a previous month's survey when accessing a Protocol Submission survey in TEALearn, they should:
- Access the survey using an Incognito window or a different web browser.
- Clear the cache in their browser following these browser-specific steps.
- If participants still encounter issues after trying these troubleshooting tips, they should email crimsi@tntp.org for support.
- If participants encounter an "Unable to login with information provided" error, they must email crimsi@tntp.org for support.
- If a blank window appears on the survey page when accessed from the Data Collection module, email crimsi@tntp.org for support.
