What is collective learning? What will collective learning for teachers, coaches, and instructional school leaders cover?
Asynchronous collective learning modules focus on introducing and modeling new ideas, protocols, and practices. Asynchronous modules offered to teachers, coaches, and instructional school leaders through role-specific and product-specific TEALearn courses provide learning on key topics for implementation:
- Introduction to HQIM and its impact on learning and learning acceleration
- Understanding content-specific Research-Based Instructional Strategies (RBIS)
- Deep dive into product design, product components, and alignment to the TEKS
- Effectively planning for instruction
- Supporting all learners using curriculum-embedded supports and scaffolds
- Effectively delivering instruction
- Using curriculum-embedded formative and summative assessments
- Analyzing and responding to student work and data
This learning, delivered through asynchronous modules on TEALearn, includes the coverage of key protocols and practices. To support learning, live Communities of Practice (CoPs) will be held to support educators in the application of collective learning as educators will engage in problems of practice to tackle implementation challenges. Please note that Onboarding Quarter collective learning will take place in the TEALearn Hub through August 7, and participants will be assigned role- and product-specific courses after that date.
