How do participants locate their TEA Uniq-ID (UID)?
Locate your TEA Uniq-ID (UID) in your TEAL profile. It is not the same number as the TEA ID used for educator certification testing. Educators without a profile can create a TEAL profile following these instructions.
Note: When creating a TEAL profile, enter your name in TEAL exactly as written on your Texas Driver's License/State ID card and Educator Certification.
To locate your TEA Uniq-ID:
- Use your TEAL username and password to log in at https://pryor.tea.state.tx.us/.
- Click “Edit My User Information” in the Self-Service menu on the left-hand side of the page.
- Find the section with your name information. Then, locate the “Uniq-ID:” label under the section with your name information. Copy the ten-digit number beside the label.
No number next to the “Uniq-ID:” label?
- Click the “Click Here” link to open the Get Unique ID pop-up window.
- Fill out the form in the pop-up window, then click the “Submit” button.
- Wait for the pop-up window to update. If a match is located, copy your Uniq-ID and proceed with the form. TEAL will update the “Edit My User Information” page to show your UID immediately.
Still can’t locate your Uniq-ID? Please contact your local education agency for your UID before proceeding with the form.
Note: If your name has changed or differs between your Texas Driver's License/State ID card and Educator Certification, please notify TEA following the Name Change instructions on TEA's website. When these sources do not match, UID matching issues occur.
