What are welcome packages and how do leaders use them to invite participants to the pilot?

Welcome Package process overview

What are Welcome Packages, and how is their messaging distributed?

Leaders use Welcome packages to invite participants to the pilot. Welcome packages contain role-specific messaging that can be pasted into an email. Leaders can use the messaging as is or make small customizations to fit the context of their district and campus. Being invited to the pilot by a leader in your district from a recognized email address leads to higher interaction rates and registration rates.

The Initiative Lead and School Leaders can determine the best distribution method to meet the district's needs. The Initiative Lead may send them welcome emails or have School Leaders and/or Instructional School Leaders deliver welcome emails campus-by-campus. Please don't forget to invite district-level coaches if this process is completed campus-by-campus.

Ready to send welcomes?

Locate the Welcome Packages folder in your district’s CRIMSI Google folder. The how-to guide is embedded in the CRIMSI Google folder for easy access, and we've provided a how-to video and guide below for easy reference. Updated welcome packages were released on June 5, reflecting participants' first steps now that orientation must be completed asynchronously. Please use these role-specific versions to invite participants to the pilot.

While the following guide is tailored towards inviting School Leaders, the same process can be followed to invite other roles to the pilot. The guide's teacher and coach version is located in the CRIMSI Google folder.
