What are the onboarding requirements?

Teachers, Coaches, and Instructional School Leaders

Participants (teachers and coaches) will complete four onboarding modules after completing their orientation and product introduction sessions. Review the onboarding scope and sequences in these FAQs to fully understand the order in which onboarding sessions should be completed and to understand what the training will entail. Onboarding requirements are outlined in the role-specific checklists.

Participation will be tracked using exit tickets at the conclusion of each session.

The four (4) coach onboarding sessions and three (3) instructional school leader onboarding sessions are offered live and asynchronously. The four (4) teacher onboarding sessions will be offered via three possible methods:

Live facilitation through Zoom by TNTP.
District-led facilitation using provided materials
Asynchronously through the TEALearn Hub (four modules).

Leaders

Leaders (the initiative lead and school leaders) will complete three onboarding sessions after they complete their orientation session live or asynchronously. The full scope and sequence for leader onboarding is outlined here. Leaders unable to attend can complete this requirement asynchronously through their TEALearn course by watching a recording and completing an exit ticket.
