What is the initiative lead’s role in registration?

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) notified district leadership that their LASO application was accepted, and their district is invited to join the CRIMSI 2023-24 Pilot on February 21, 2023. Districts had until March 31, 2023, to accept or deny their award.

To individually register and then support pilot registration, the initiative lead will complete the following action items in the order listed:

  1. Kick-Off Session – Attend a kick-off meeting via Zoom on March 7, 2023, March 28, 2023, or watch the video recording. Then, complete an exit ticket to receive credit for attending the session.
  2. Self-enrollment – Self-enroll in the TEALearn Hub.
  3. Complete a Quiz – Complete the Getting to Know You Quiz in the TEALearn Hub, indicating Initiative Lead as your role.
  4. District Application – Complete a District Application Artifact in a district-specific CRIMSI Google Folder sharing with the CRIMSI the district-level support team, leaders at participating campuses, and count of coaches and teachers participating per product.
  5. Invite Leaders – Invite School Leaders and Instructional School Leaders to the pilot using provided role-specific Welcome Packages, located in the CRIMSI Google folder. Email the provided messaging from a district email address to individuals right for these roles, and they will have the necessary information to get started in the CRIMSI pilot.
