How is FMLA/Leave handled?
If a participant has a planned or unexpected leave during the 2023-24 pilot, we kindly ask the following:
- Email CRIMSI@tntp.org to let us know the approximate start and end date of your leave. Please CC your CRIMSI Initiative Lead or School Leader on the email so we know your leave is approved. Alternatively, request your leaders reach out to alert us of your leave.
- We will update our records to note the dates of your leave. We require an email record citing your leave to ensure accurate reporting concerning stipend disbursements.
- Upon your return, make up any missed asynchronous coursework through TEALearn by May 31, 2024, to qualify for the June stipend disbursement. Requirements that cannot be made up and, therefore, will not have stipend implications are:
- Community of Practice (CoP) live sessions during your leave will be excused unless a make-up session is available for a specific session upon your return. Only sessions that can no longer be made up will be excused.
- Quarterly Feedback surveys are time-sensitive and close on a specific date to maintain data fidelity. If you miss a survey during your leave, it will be excused.
- Instructional School Leaders Only: Progress Monitoring Meeting requirements (the data submission, live session attendance, and exit ticket) during your leave will be excused unless a make-up session is available for a specific session upon your return. Only sessions that can no longer be made up will be excused.
Participants will still receive email updates during their leave. During their leave, participants who cannot access their district email address may review the Newsletter Archive to keep up with pilot updates or review prior communications upon their return.
