How can email addresses be whitelisted?
To whitelist an email address, you need to tell your email provider that you trust the sender and that their emails should never be sent to spam. This can be done in a few different ways, depending on your email provider.
Gmail
- Go to Settings > See all settings.
- Click Filters and blocked addresses.
- Click Create a new filter.
- In the From field, enter the email address you want to whitelist.
- Click Create filter.
- Under Never send it to Spam, check the box.
- Click Create filter.
Outlook
- Click File > Account Settings.
- Click Manage your account.
- Click Junk email.
- Click Safe senders and domains.
- Click Add.
- Enter the email address you want to whitelist.
- Click Add.
Yahoo
- Click Mail > More > Mail settings.
- Click Filters.
- Click Create a new filter.
- In the From field, enter the email address you want to whitelist.
- Click Next.
- Under Actions, click Never send it to spam.
- Click Create filter.
Once you have whitelisted an email address, their emails will always go to your inbox, even if your spam filter would otherwise send them to spam.
