What professional development and support should District and School Leaders anticipate?
The pilot provides planning and implementation support to leaders to guide successful implementation district-wide.
Readiness and Progress Assessments
To gauge readiness and progress, consultations will be scheduled throughout the pilot. An initial, launch, and middle-of-pilot consultation are mandatory for leaders to attend.
Dedicated Implementation Advisors
Each initiative lead is assigned implementation advisors, one from each TNTP and TEA, who will serve as their direct support throughout the pilot. Throughout the pilot, your advisor will meet with you for consultations, host live virtual professional development sessions, and connect leaders with other resources and support as needed.
Initiative Leads may email
CRIMSIleader@tntp.org to get in direct contact with your district’s assigned advisor.
Note: All other participants can contact CRIMSI@tntp.org for support.
1:1 Consultations (Regularly and On Demand)
In addition to the initial, launch, and middle-of-pilot consultations, consultations are available on demand. You may schedule a consultation by emailing crimsileader@tntp.org to obtain the Calendly link for scheduling consultations.
Strategic Planning Tools and Timelines
The Implementation Plan will be the guiding resource for all leader learning. It provides guiding questions and areas for action planning for the entirety of the pilot and will house all relevant exemplars, samples, and templates.
Each section of the Implementation Plan will align with information presented in the Leader Orientation and 3 Leader Onboarding Sessions. The Implementation Plan will provide templates for leaders to complete as “Action Items” after each live session. Completion of the Implementation Plan Action Items will ensure Initiative Leads have created the systems necessary for successful implementation of HQIM.
Initiative Leads will receive feedback from their CRIMSI Advisor upon completing their Implementation Plan Action Items. Specific completion deadlines will be communicated to leaders during Orientation and Leader Onboarding sessions.
High-Quality Professional Learning (HQPL)
High-quality professional learning (HQPL) will consist of four types of live Zoom sessions.
Kick-Off / Orientation: 60-minute Live Zoom session facilitated once for Initiative Leads and once for School Leaders and a 90-minute live zoom orientation facilitated to all leaders.
Onboarding: Three (3) 90-minute Live Zoom sessions facilitated for Initiative Leads and School Leaders
Problems of Practice:
Optional 60-minute Live Zoom sessions facilitated once and combined for Initiative Leads and School Leaders
Progress Meetings: 60-minute Live Zoom sessions facilitated up to 5 times and combined for Initiative Leads and School Leaders
Cohort Placement
CRIMSI assigns each district a dedicated advisor who is familiar with the local context of their district. This allows the advisors to meet districts' unique needs efficiently and effectively.
