What are the purposes and benefits of the CRIMSI Pilot?
COVID-19 caused a massive disruption in education, requiring an even greater focus on accelerated student learning.
To recuperate learning losses, schools must make significant changes. That is why TEA’s CRIMSI 23-24 Pilot was intentionally designed around the Learning Acceleration Framework, ensuring:
- Teachers are supported and equipped to deliver excellence, getting more than one year of growth through professional learning in one year.
- Students have access to rigorous instructional materials designed to make up ground and to work remotely and on campus.
- Capacity is built so there is more time for the students most in need, including the summer, and with targeted tutoring.
