Pre-Implementation Survey
What is the Pre-Implementation Survey, and when is it due?
The Pre-Implementation Survey is an essential component of the onboarding process for all CRIMSI educators. The survey gathers feedback on pre-implementation supports and how participants will use high-quality instructional materials (HQIM) during the 2023-24 school year.
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) values feedback and utilizes it to make pilot decisions. Therefore, participants are encouraged to spend 10-15 minutes sharing honest, thoughtful feedback. Please know all submission data is anonymized to encourage sincerity.
Pre-Implementation Surveys will be sent to participants on a rolling basis starting August 7, 2023. CRIMSI educators will receive their unique survey link via email by August 10, 2023. Surveys are due on August 31, 2023.
What happens if a participant cannot locate their survey?
Any participant who does not receive their Pre-Implementation Survey email by August 17, 2023, should check their Spam Folder for the “Pre-Implementation Survey” from the
noreply@tea.texas.gov email address. If still unable to locate their survey, the participant is encouraged to email
crimsi@tntp.org for support.
How will participants joining the pilot late receive their survey, and do they receive a deadline extension?
Participants joining the pilot after August 17, 2023, will receive their survey link within their verification email and should submit their survey within two weeks of email receipt.
Does the Pre-Implementation Survey impact stipend and CPE hours eligibility?
Timely survey submission is a stipend requirement for instructional school leaders and coaches. To be eligible for a $500 stipend disbursement in December 2023, participants must submit the Pre-Implementation Survey in addition to completing
all of the Onboarding deliverables outlined in the role-specific Onboarding checklists. For completing the survey, the initiative lead and school leaders earn .25 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Hours.
